Tasty Tuesday: Strawberry Ice Box Cake

Summertime is the perfect time for ice box cakes!  They are light and refreshing, plus they are quick and easy to make.  The strawberry ice box cake is a great dessert for the Fourth of July.  Decorate the top with strawberries and blueberries to make the American flag, or decorate with strawberry roses and a drizzle of chocolate.

Ingredients: 

• 1 Package of Halladay's Strawberry Cheesecake Mix 
• 1 8oz container of Cool Whip or Tru Whip
• 2 Sleeves of graham crackers
• 2 lbs. of strawberries sliced with 1 Tbsp. of sugar 

How to Make: 

1. Fold the Cool Whip into the cheesecake mix. 
2. Add a thin layer of the cream mixture to the bottom of a baking dish and alternate between the graham crackers, strawberry slices and cream until ingredients are gone. 
3. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
