Tasty Tuesday: Cinnamon Sweet Rolls

This Tasty Tuesday is perfect for an Easter Brunch.  It is a sweet cinnamon roll that is a great addition to your table.  These are certainly going to be a family favorite.

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 package Halladay's Vermont Beer Bread Classic Mix
  • 1 (12 oz.) can or bottle beer or club soda
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

How to Make:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Combine the cinnamon and sugar and set aside. 
  3. Combine the butter and brown sugar in a separate bowl and set aside. 
  4. Lightly grease a cake pan. 
  5. Mix the beer bread with beer or club soda. 
  6. Take the beer bread mixture and scoop out a 1/4 cup of batter and roll in the cinnamon and sugar. 
  7. Repeat with all the batter and place in the cake pan.  
  8. Sprinkle with nuts if you would like.
  9. Pour the butter and brown sugar over the rolls and bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
  10. Cool and pull apart when serving.
